Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept Walk-ins?
No. We prefer you call to set up an appointment or book online. We do not keep a Massage Therapist on staff just for walk-ins. Most Massage Therapists are booked a few days in advance so it is best to figure out a future date for your appointment.

Do you offer any other services besides massage?

Yes! We now offer Facials and Skin Peels.

What’s the difference between Signature and Deep Tissue Massage?

Our Signature massage is a gentle, relaxing Swedish massage and it is our most popular service. If you are looking for deeper pressure that really works out tight and sore muscles then you can upgrade to a Deep Tissue Massage for only $10 more.

What areas of the body are massaged during a Signature Massage?

During our Signature Massage routine you can expect the Massage Therapist to massage your back, legs, feet, arms, hands, neck, face and scalp. During your consultation you may let your Massage Therapist know if you would not like any of these areas massaged.

Do I have to be completely undressed?

No. We say to undress to your comfort level. You can leave your underwear on if you feel more comfortable. You will be draped under a sheet and a blanket and the Massage Therapist will only uncover the area they will be working on.

Do you have contracts or membership fees?
No. We do not make our clients sign a contract or pay any membership fees. You just pay as you go.

How much should I tip?
The average gratuity amount is 20-25%. Gratuity can be left in cash or put on a credit/debit card at the reception desk.

Do you accept insurance?
No. We do not accept insurance.

Do you accept Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA)?

Yes, we do! Please be sure your provider accepts massage therapy services before you book your appointment. Some providers require your physician to write a prescription for Massage Therapy to alleviate or prevent a physical or mental ailment. Examples of illnesses that qualify include carpal tunnel syndrome, stress, back pain, arthritis, diabetes, hypertension, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, anxiety, depression and pain management. Make sure the physician includes the Frequency: number of sessions per month (example: minimum of two sessions per month. Note that you can't include tips or pay for multiple sessions upfront. Please save receipts as your provider may ask for documentation.

What is the Cancellation Policy?
Scheduled appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment time are subject to a $25 fee. If you miss your appointment time or do not show, we charge the full price of the service. This compensates the Massage Therapist for the missed appointment. We do not refund cancellation fees.

What happens if I am late to my appointment?
We highly recommend always arriving at least 10 minutes before your appointment. This ensures you will get your full time and much more relaxing experience. New clients have paperwork to fill out before the appointment time starts. If you are late to your appointment we will try to work with you and give you as much time as the Massage Therapist can. If you arrive over 15 minutes past your scheduled time your appointment is subject to the cancellation fee.

Can I bring my kids in to wait while I get my massage?
We highly recommend you do not leave your kids in the reception area while you get your massage. This is a place to escape for most clients and it is not a place for children. It is also not the receptionist’s job to babysit. Only bring children along if they are scheduled for a treatment.

Can I get a massage if I am pregnant?

Yes, but you must be out of your first trimester. Once you are out of your first trimester you will need to book a prenatal massage. No other services can be booked while you are pregnant.

Do you accept expired Gift Certificates?
Yes, we do accept expired gift certificates with a $5 redemption fee. All our gift certificates have a 1 year expiration. After the 1 year you must pay $5 to redeem the full value of the certificate.

How often should I get a massage?
We say let your body be the judge. The average client comes in once a month. Some clients come in weekly or bi-weekly. Everyone’s body is different and responds differently to treatment. The more frequently you get massages you will notice the difference of how much better you feel overall.

How does the Couples Massage work?
Our Couples Massage is 2 Signature Massages at the same time with 2 Massage Therapists in our Couples Suite. The Couple’s Suite is subject to limited availability.

Do you massage Minors?
Yes. The parent or guardian must be present to sign a minor consent form.
